Grant ID: 8686xwp56

I have read and agree to the privacy policy:

Describe what your project does or is aiming to do in 50 characters or less:
I plan to undertake a full economic analysis of the markets which emerge from the activity of developers, curators, indexers, delegators, which to my knowledge has not been done yet.

If available, please enter a link to your project below:

How far along are you?:
I have not started yet

Why did you pick this idea to work on? Do you have domain expertise in this area? How do you know people need what you’re making?:
As an economist, the idea came naturally when I became acquainted with Graph. The proposal was made aftter having realised that there does not seem to be any such analysis.

What’s new about what you’re making? What substitutes do people resort to because it doesn’t exist yet (or they don’t know about it)?:
See sbove and the link with the project proposal

What’s your vision for how your project will impact The Graph and/or web3?:
See the link with the project proposal

How will you measure success?:
If approved by Graph, the plan is to publish a version of the final report in an international peer reviewed journal. This is indeed what I made also with the 5 blockchain platforms that I receeived grants from so far.

What milestones will you achieve in the coming weeks/months, with or without the grant?:
See link with the project proposal

Please select who you think will benefit from your project?:
Curators, Delegators, Indexers, Subgraph Developers

How much funding are you looking for? (USD):

Provide a breakdown of your requested funding:
The funds will cover my working days

Have you applied for (or already received) funding from somewhere else?:

Can you share any information about current/past web3 experience?:
I received grants from the following blockchains: Algorand, Near, Neo, Tezos, Vechain to develop reports on their economics features.

Why are you interested in contributing to The Graph and/or web3?:
Because of the nature of Graph activity and its structure.

Are you applying as a team or individual?:

What type of grant are you pursuing?:
Project (one-off)

Thanks for your application.
I would like to know how this proposal could benefit The Graph ecosystem.

Thank you for submitting your proposal. After a review of the content, this appears to be a protocol-related grant application and is therefore not within the scope of community grants that the Graph AdvocatesDAO oversees.

You can submit your proposal directly to the Graph Foundation following this link: The Graph: Grants Application. Good luck!
