Summary:

Ethereum Brasil (EB) is a non profitable project launched at the end of 2021, initially as a Brazilian web3 event planner focusing in the Ethereum ecosystem. After the success of our first event, EthereumRio, in March of 2022 a lot of the attendees got in contact to thank us for the opportunity to participate in their first web3 event. Some participants had their lives completely changed after that first event where their projects could be sponsored by the biggest web3 companies.
It has been a year since EB was created and during this time we noticed that the Brazilian web3 community is not connected, and it is concentrated in the southeast region of Brazil (where cities like São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are located).
To accomplish our mission we’ve been developing different strategies as presented below:
Connect: through our social media channels we regularly display content to bring new members. It is also under construction a project of collabs where each state of Brazil can be represented and have your own local community to discuss about Ethereum ecosystem with all the local unique peculiarities and demands and opportunities in a collaborative and decentralised environment - our community builder has been doing onboarding meetings with all the people who applied for the Colab project;
Educate: during the first and second semester of 2022 we produced one big Ethereum event each (EthereumRio22 and EthereumSP22), attended by devs, builders, non devs and web3 enthusiasts and we will keep producing these international events during the year of 2023, plus the EBR tour - a one day event where our core team, plus sponsors and the collabs members will prepare and display content to the web3 community through bootcamp and workshops
Strengthen: all the Ethereum collabs in Brazil have open channels of communication to the EBR team with frequent meetings. We will also do launchpads during our Ethereum events to connect projects with the web3 companies.

Brazil has already shown exponential growth in relation to web3 in recent years, but there is still a long way to go, we believe that through community building actions nationwide, through the EB Colab project whose purpose is to educate, connect and strengthen the Ethereum community in Brazil and the mission of enabling the decentralized growth of the Ethereum Brazil community, through recurring actions of state activations, democratizing access to blockchain technology in the country, we have the vision of becoming the national reference organization of access to education and inclusion in the web3 ecosystem.

Hello! Thank you for your application! I would like to ask you a question.

Graph AdvocatesDAO only processes community grants under $20000. While answering question one Lorena has asked, would your team be able to decrease the amount of asked funding to a number lower than $20000?

Unfortunately, this grant proposal did not generate the level of support in the community to move it to the next phase of the grant application process.
