Summary:
We are COR Community - the Association of Creative Companies of Moldova. Our mission is to offer support to individuals and companies connected to the Creative Industry (creators, artists, designers, freelancers, content makers, IT companies, etc.). Our project is supported by USAID Moldova, Embassy of Sweden, Embassy of Great Britain and Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of Moldova.
We have 3000+ companies and 20k+ individuals in our community (Moldova’s Creative Industry), that perform monthly up to 1k transactions through our Organization of the total approximate amount of $100k.
We have our own Hub with almost 5000 m2 of space for coworking, events, studios, classrooms, etc. Both these assets (spaces & human capital) often remain idle or are used well below capacity due to inadequate visibility and coordination.
Countless organizations across industries possess valuable assets - from equipment and facilities to human capital and intellectual property - that are not being effectively utilized to their full potential. This lack of utilization not only hinders efficiency but also stifles growth and innovation.
We are launching a marketplace of underutilized assets. Underutilized assets refer to resources or possessions that are not fully utilized or maximized to their full potential.
Examples of underutilized assets:
Spaces (i.e. hotels, event rooms, cinemas/theaters, fitness/spa/gyms etc.) can list their underutilized spaces for short-term rentals. COR community has its own Hub with almost 5000 m2 of space for coworking, events, studios, classrooms, etc. Currently, these assets are not used at their full capacity
Services (i.e. IT, design, marketing, content creation and management, etc.). Our creative community includes a lot of specialists from different industries (creators, marketers, IT specialists, etc.) and these resources are not used at their full capacity
Products (i.e. books, tickets to events, food from supermarkets that is approaching their expiration dates, illiquid stocks from clothing, sports, toys and other stores)
The examples are infinite. Every industry has underutilized assets.
Now imagine that there is a marketplace where individuals and entities can list their underutilized assets and enter into possession of others. All we need for that is an exchange currency and a technology that will allow that.

How far along are you?:
MVP. ArtCoin currency and ArtCoin technology were launched on Casper Networks. We are in process of adoption of ArtCoin by our community, in the middle of onboarding of our community (wallets’ creation, users’ training of how to use the technology and exchange assets through ArtCoin). Additionally, we are raising funds for development of underutilized assets marketplace.
Why did you pick this idea to work on? Do you have domain expertise in this area? How do you know people need what you’re making?:
We have 3000+ companies and 20k+ individuals in our community (Moldova’s Creative Industry), that perform monthly up to 1k transactions through our Organization of the total approximate amount of $100k. Our project is supported by USAID Moldova, Embassy of Sweden, Embassy of Great Britain and Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of Moldova.
We have good scaling opportunities (connections) in countries where global COR organization functions (Estonia/Latvia/Letonia, Romania, UK, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Georgia, Poland, Serbia, Monte Negro, etc.). Basically, after the successful implementation of the project in the first pilot country (Moldova) we are officially supported by our Partners (USAID Moldova, Embassy of Sweden, Embassy of Great Britain, etc.) to implement the project in the countries mentioned above.
What’s new about what you’re making? What substitutes do people resort to because it doesn’t exist yet (or they don’t know about it)?:
The ArtCoin contributes to the improvement of the local community and society in general based on the following criteria:
- Accessibility: The ArtCoin enhances accessibility by providing a platform that connects asset owners with potential users or buyers. It can make underutilized assets more visible and accessible to a wider audience, enabling individuals or businesses to find and utilize resources that were previously unavailable or difficult to access. This increased accessibility can lead to more efficient resource utilization, cost savings, and opportunities for innovation and growth within the community.
- Inclusivity: The ArtCoin promotes inclusivity and diversity within the community by providing equal opportunities and benefits to all members, regardless of their background. It creates a level playing field where individuals or businesses can participate and benefit from the utilization of underutilized assets, irrespective of their size, location, or traditional market presence. This inclusivity can foster economic development, encourage entrepreneurship, and empower marginalized groups within the community.
- Empowerment: The ArtCoin empowers the community or specific groups within the community by enabling them to improve their quality of life or achieve their goals in a significant way. We want to move our Creative Community (20k individuals and 3k+ companies) all across the world to web3, by leveraging existent underutilized assets inside our community through ArtCoin technology and currency and are looking to partner with a powerful network, capable of accepting millions of users, a network with good documentation, fast speed low-cost transaction and highest level of security.
